The world has been subject to rampant and heart-breaking deforestation which has elevated the need to protect the environment now more than ever. We have planted more than 50,000 trees across different regions of Gujarat in conjunction with various local NGOs including VSSM, The Ahmedabad Project, to name a few.

We have integrated green building initiatives such as energy efficient designs, waste management systems, water conversation and more across our research facilities in Ahmedabad, India and Cambridge, UK. Our upcoming facility Shirish Research Park has received platinum LEED certification for the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of the buildings.

o2h Group has a track record of nurturing and investing in talent at all levels. We organise various programmes and sessions throughout the year to promote equality for everyone, diversity and kindness. o2h group has carried out an annual Women in Science and technology open day since 2004 to showcase exciting career opportunities for women in the field of science.

o2h group also encourages contribution, partnerships and connections with local NGO’s and the community. We have an active employee volunteer program running since 2004 with a number of local organisations, including – Manav Sadhna, Visamo Kids, Jeevandhara Old Age Home, Paryavaran Mitra, Blind People’s Association and many other genuinely supporting people in need in disadvantaged areas of the city. 

The DNA of the o2h group is centred around the nurturing of its people, values and its culture as their true Intellectual Property. Some of the key facets of the culture include making an impact on our society through our work but also operating with a small individual/collective ego and working with kindness. The private ownership of the company allows us to focus on our culture and involve the team in our decision making before those of external shareholders. 

As a company we understand that we have a responsibility towards our people, stakeholders and society in general. We are driven by making a direct impact with our skills in science, technology in terms of seeding new ideas and more broadly being active citizens in the innovation ecosystems in which we operate. We have been pioneers and launched the CambridgeWideOpenDay and also the Collaborative Innovation Conference in Ahmedabad.
