The Invite!
We have been running a biotech bootcamp for leading influencers in Cambridge, UK and now it is in its 4th year, and for the first time we are extending an invitation to some of our colleagues in the USA! I understand this is a long shot but if you were planning a trip anyway or happened to be around, you would be most welcome to join us!
The sixth edition of our signature Influencer Biotech Bootcamp is on 27th Nov 2024 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Hauxton House, Mill SciTech Park, Cambridge, UK. If you are interested in attending this event, please sign up via this link here, and you can add the event to your calendar using this link here.
The Agenda
Over a single day the five sessions cover: A - Business, Economy & Funding, B - Strategy, Operations & Team, C - Deals & Exits, D - Innovation & Creativity, and E - Cambridge & World Domination. We will bring together an exciting quintet of trailblazers, each representing diverse opinions, experiences, and voices and includes a cross section of the community covering (1) Biotech CXOs (2) Big Pharma, (3) Academia/Professors & Government, (4) Incubators & Seed/VCs, and (5) Public Policy experts/representatives. Our eclectic pedagogy includes expert subject tours, masterclasses, personal stories, workshops, Q&A sessions, and debates in an experience sharing format.
The Vibe!
Looking far beyond the 'start-up' skills, we endeavour to bring together two dozen influencers who will share grassroots experiences and have demonstrated a serious stake in shaping the future of biotech. In other words, this 'biotech dirty dozen' will have proven, in some small way, their willingness to get their hands dirty to help British biotech flourish.
The session leads are selected from the two dozen attendees, and they steer the conversation in an 'experience sharing' format. We encourage attendees to tackle subjects based on their hard-earned experiences, to disagree, and to stir up a little controversy. The identity of the facilitator is not as important—they are there to spark our curiosity and provoke us into counter-punching our points, with the aim of perhaps finding some common ground to conclude each session.
